My fitness journey began after a major setback. I played volleyball for 6 years until injuries and two ankle surgeries took me off the court.
Rehab was tough and I gained 15kg from being sedentary, but it opened my eyes to the power of strength training and recovery, not just for athletes, but for anyone who wants to move, live, and feel better.
When I could finally return to the gym I committed fully. At my lowest point, I felt stuck, heavy, and unrecognizable to myself. But by showing up day after day, five times a week, I rebuilt not just my body, but also my discipline, resilience, and confidence.
That process became the seed for RAW. That no matter what life throws at me, I’ll always choose to rise any way. As I got stronger, I also discovered the world of hybrid training. I began swimming and running, which led me to join aquathlon races.
Alongside my strength training in the gym, I explored different sports for cross-training like competing in a Spartan Race, trying out Hyrox, and learning the basics of Boxing.
All of which continuously pushed myself to evolve as a hybrid athlete. That experience shaped how I now coach: fitness isn’t one-dimensional, and your training shouldn’t be either.
